I use large planks of reclaimed and upcycled walnut to make these frames. They have a contrasting maple insert or “spline” in each corner to reinforce the joint and ensure that the frames last a very long time.
Each solid wood picture frame comes from my Powell, Tennessee workshop and has the handmade details missing from mass-produced stuff:
Built according to precise specs; a 8”x10” frame will fit a 8”x10” photo perfectly.
Made lovingly by hand from premium wood and built to last a lifetime.
Finished with oil and wax to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
Includes pre-installed hardware so all you need is one nail; smaller frames have a sawtooth hanger; larger frames (20x30” and up), include a hanging wire.
Includes tabs and thick backing paper to keep your print secure.
Includes acrylic glass (aka, plexiglass) because it is 10 times stronger than glass, shatter resistant, non yellowing, and 94% UV blocking.

We make each frame after you order it and do our best to ship as quickly as possible without cutting corners or sacrificing quality.
Frames are made to order and ship within 1-3 weeks
Each frame comes with acrylic glass, which has a brown or blue protective paper coating to protect it from scratches. Simply peel that paper off each side.
