Knox Wood Creations

KWC started in 2016 beginning with cutting boards, shadow boxes, and any custom work I could acquire.

Starting with one frame for a friend back in 2017, I now have made over 10,000 frames shipped worldwide.

The craftmanship, quality, and unique corner spline makes the frame as much a piece of beauty as the art it holds.

The Shop.

Right next door, our former 2 car garage has been transformed into my full time shop. Every square inch utilized to work as efficiently as possible.

Locally Sourced Wood.

Working with local sawmills and lumber yards each and every board is sustainably sourced from the South East Region of the US.

Meet the Craftsman

I'm Mark Hollis - Husband, Dad, Woodworker, and Coach. I moved to Knoxville in 2013 chasing the Olympic Dream in the pole vault. After finishing 4th at the Olympic Trials in 2016 I decided to hang up my spikes and strarted coaching instead. Growing up in Northern Illinois, my dad, a pastor, refinished furniture in his spare time. In high school I took a few woodworking classes which ignited a passion for the craft at an early age.

The Family.

My wife Amanda and I, at our home near Knoxville, Tn with our kids Ellie, 4, and Hunter, 1.
